Tom Tom Festival

This weekend I had a great time mixing and mingling with some of Charlottesvilles friendliest people.

I don’t know if all of my local customers know about this day of festivities, but it is really a great kick off to the spring season. A treasure of hundreds of local vendors, offering various local pickins. It was the 4th Annual Tom Tom Founders Festival, a nonprofit that host 7 days of various events every year, in Charlottesville, Va. I was invited to participate through CIC, Community Investment Collaborative. Here I am with my youngest son, posing for my CIC class leader, Shannon Beach.

We were able to meet knew people and to reunited with some of our regular supporters. The sounds and smells radiating throughout the day were pleasing to the spirit. Especially since the weather was so beautiful, after so many dreary days of cold and rain. I couldn’t have asked God for a more perfect day to be among the people.

We truly enjoyed the conversations, gracious attitudes, and the delicious foods. I even got a chance to try out my brand new square.first square sale

This new customer was so kind, friendly, and helpful, she even took the time to instruct me in the use of the square. How awesome!

Being a vendor at the Tom tom festival, gave me chance to introduce my line of products to new customers, and we got to hang with some of our loyal customers.

It was a fun day of new endeavors of meeting new people,  trying different foods from various cultures and learning about new creative local artist. Can’t wait for next years festival!!!
